It was recommended by a staff member on the Avalon cruise. The hot dog was absolute perfection. The employees were very sweet. I don’t speak Portuguese and they did not speak Spanish or English, but were so patient and accommodating.

We were starving after finding out all restaurants in the area were fully booked. These people saved our night with their kind hospitality and delicious hotdogs! They were so good we had to come back another time. It feels like the living room of Pinhão. Would highly recommend!

We stopped here after a long day of walking in the heat and visiting a winery. There was a very limited menu when we came in, I think it was due to the time ~ 6 pm. We had a great loaded hotdog and a beer. This place seemed like it was a spot for locals, not tourists, so be mindful of that if you don’t speak any Portuguese.

It’s a local snack bar, so judge it by that. Charming owner in the evening with no English apart from ‘cash’ request. Brilliant sunny balcony overlooking the tributary river. We visited a few times. Outstanding value. Didn’t eat there.

Quaint, warm and low-budget place for a coffee and a snack. The owner is very kind and will do her very best to make your visit comfortable. She's a perfect subject to train your Portuguese on as she doesn't speak a single word of English. She will applaud you if you finish a Portuguese sentence Don't expect the best atmosphere and quality of coffee; the low prices compensate for half of it, the other half is your attitude.

We came to the small town to tour the winery and go on a boat trip, we were starving when we got there and found this little place. We had a couple of sandwiches and some chips. We wash them down with a couple of rounds of beer. The place is is nothing fancy, but the people that run the place are so nice and happy to see you. It was a highlight of the day.
